I have a INTEL D945GCNL , intel core 2 duo e4500
and planning to upgrading of processor
does CORE 2 QUAD is supported by my mobo? if not which is the best processor for my mobo please help at the quickest

You could go up to an E6700. But that's not much better.

you said that e6700 is not much better then what should i do ? what should i do to get better gaming performance i cant afford bigger gaming rigs i am a poor guy please help what should i upgrade to get better gaming performance

Even if you buy best processor your mobo supports, that would be a weak processor compared to today's standard. An i3 would beat the best processor your mobo supports. Heck, even a Broadwell (last gen) pentium G would beat a quadcore Q9650.

I would sell the old system and buy new one. As newer systems uses newer technology, faster rams and latest techs in connectivity like usb, newer SATA port. Also new system will be valid performer in the long run. If you can not upgrade to a new system now, be happy with your cpu for now. Save up to upgrade to a new system.

Agreed with up^, my recommend is save money to build a entire system, upgrading to another LGA775 will no help with games.

True.LGA 775 is obselete.Even if you upgrade, gaming will not be much improved.
You need a Graphics card
Even today's pentiums will blow away a quad 775 in single thread and multi thread too sometimes

There's not much you can do with your current system, sadly. Gaming is an expensive hobby.

Your best bet is probably to try to save up $200 or so and get a used workstation with a Core i3 from eBay. That's pretty hard to beat in terms of value.

What resolution are you planning to play on and which games ?
If you only want light gaming, you can build a cheap pentium system.(G4400)
Intel's HD510 will fare pretty well for light gaming and you will be surprised by the speed increase of your PC

I have an NVIDIA GT 610 2GB i need more performance in my pc or should i sell my pc? if anyone has some used gaming pc please leave a link below below 150 USD please help me

A GT 610 is (I believe) slower than the integrated GPU included with both Intel and AMD's processors from the past 2-3 years.

With that kind of budget, you might consider something like an AMD A6 7xxx or A8 7xxx, or possibly an Intel i3 4xxx or 6xxx (if you can find a good deal) + motherboard + RAM.

You processor can easily handle the 610 so no worries about the cpu
