Question Need help in choosing which second hand gaming PC to buy!

Hi All,

In need of help to determine which PC to buy, I am a console player moving to PC and I have bought a 144hz screen 1080p. So preferably whichever will provide me with higher fps for gaming, currently I mainly play fortnite. I have only just recently started reading information about specs, so I don't know a lot.

PC no.1 specs - $950 AUD

CPU - i5-8600k
GPU - GTX 1060 6GB
SSD - Samsung 860 250GB
MBD - Gigabyte motherboard B360m D3H
Power - 650w
RAM - 8GB
Cooler - Hyper 212 LED turbo cooler master fans


PC no.2 specs - $1200 AUD

CPU - Ryzen 5 1600
GPU - GALAX GeForce GTX 1080 8GB
SSD - Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
MBD - MSI X370 SLI PLUS
Power - Corsair 550w 80+ Gold semi-modular
RAM - 2x8GB DDR4 2666Mhz
Cooler - wraith spire cooler
HDD - 500GB

Any advice and recommondations would be appreciated! Thanks.

IMHO, I would go with the AMD Ryzen build. It has a stronger GPU and that is what will make the most difference in your games at 144Hz.
