can i just change graphic card to Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1080 and add 8Gb more memory?
- or its better to build/buy new?

Just change graphic card to Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1080 and add 8Gb more memory.
Your CPU and the rest of your build is great.
If you want a bit more speed, you could probably overclock your CPU to above 4 GHz
When you add 8Gb more memory be careful to buy the exact same type of memory as you already have.
Also consider GeForce GTX 1070 - it is a very powerful GPU

Assuming this is for gaming (by the proposed 1080 addition), a GPU upgrade is all you really need......although some additional memory wouldn't hurt at all.

The 3770K is still a great CPU and should last you a long time yet.

The 1070 is a great call - unless you're playing at 4K (which you won't be with your 660TI).
The 1070 will rock everything at 1080p, and do very well at 1440p.

I'd ensure you're on Windows 10 too - before the upgrade expires, as that setup will serve you well for a long time (with a 1070 and 16GB RAM). DX12 will be commonplace before you need to upgrade your CPU/Mobo etc.

thanks all I was not sure, but you confirmed me
regarding memory, yes ill probably buy new stick -16 or 2x8 - Is one stick better?
and maybe need to change PSU as I remember there was not enough power cables- need to look inside
As I "save", I can afford better monitor, so planning to go for 4K and use my Dell U2713HM as secondary monitor would it work?

Edit: need to change memory as it has 2x4
PSU is Inter-Tech SL-700A- with:
1 x 20+4 Pin
1 x 4+4 Pin
2 x PCI-E 6+2 Pin
4 x SATA
3 x Molex
1 x Floppy

Is it enough?

Find out how much memory your motherboard can support and max it out.
If you can afford to upgrade your PSU, do it! Go PSU full modular.

Memory runs much faster if it is installed in pairs. 2x4Gb = 8Gb, 2x8Gb-16Gb

You can also do 4x4Gb=16GB, equally fast, but works best to use identical memory sticks - same brand, same speed.

wait, 2x8 is better than 1x16?

Your motherboard is dual channel, so 2 x 8Gb uses all the memory bandwidth, and is therefore faster than 1x16Gb

Thanks for clarifying
motherboard model is actually Z77 Pro3 so according to data it can have DDR3 2800+ (oc)
as I understand there is no real benefit to have 2800 over 1600 am I correct? what kind memory would you suggest?
