it runs on windows vista
and is out of warranty
How do i extend the warranty from the indian dell website ?
i live in India Bangalore
so i wish to know if the components would be available here in this region

YOU CAN NOT UPGRADE LAPTOPS. The hardware is specific to the model (the boards and components are CUT specifically to how that model / series is made AND ONLY that model /series).

IF that is the right model THAT IS THE WRONG WINDOWS. Per http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/studio-xps-16/drivers that should be Windows SEVEN not VISTA, and it is TOO OLD (over 5 years), the hardware parts are all long past life warranty (3 years) and any number of parts would fail 'next'.

You can NOT extend a warranty on a NO LONGER SUPPORTED system, this is a NO LONGER SUPPORTED SYSTEM.

You have a machine, out of date, out of warranty, out of options, and NOT upgradable (except swapping out for more RAM or a larger Hard...

All other parts are SOLDERED onto the board / custom cut (GPU) for that case/motherboard/connection/cooling system ONLY. Your only option is to get a NEW laptop, or just 'deal' with this one till one day POOF it just dies.
