You can't... if the GPU needs 6 pin or 6+2 pins, it will only work with those conditions... anything less will be insufficient and probably damage the card or don't even power it up.

I'm not aware of a 1060 version that uses only 4pin, what's your exact GPU and PSU model?

You just can't, not enough power will be delivered to it. Won't work, sorry.

Best approach is to buy a new PSU.
