[SOLVED] Need help installing a new NVIDIA EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 HYBIRD 12G

I have just purchased a new NVIDIA EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 HYBIRD 12G. I have never installed a hybrid gpu. If you have experience installing these any help would be appreciated. According to the instructions i have to remove the current heat sync and install the hybrid cooling system and radiator. Also would the wiring be the same as my current Asus gtx 1080? or do i need different power or any type of connection?

it should come ready to be installed.

remove old card,
install RTX 3080 in PCIe x16 slot,
attach radiator to a 240mm vented case mounting point,
attach fans to the radiator,
attach PCIe power cables to card.

you will have to compare the old & new cards to see.
most 3rd party RTX 3080s should be using 2x 8pin PCIe power cables.

Should already be assembled as hybrid.
Power wire connection and mount in reverse of old ones removal, and mount he radiator and fans to a vented exhaust location in your case.

thank you. i had directions to install the hybrid kit on a non hybrid card that was my problem. ive got a perfect spot in my case for the radiator which is the last possible spot to mount this. Its a spot for a 360mm radiator. I mounted my distro plate/reservoir to the front of the pc replacing the front glass panel good thing i got that one because if not most distro plates would of went in this spot that is free where im going to put this gpu radiator.

The FTW3 and FTW3 ultra both have 3x8 pin cables because they are clocked higher.. Best to have seperate cables and not pigtailed as well if possible.
