[SOLVED] Need help installing liquid cooling radiator fan controller that has usb 2.0 connection to motherboard

I currently have upHere 5V 6-Pack 120mm Silent Intelligent Control 5V Addressable RGB Fan Motherboard Sync, Adjustable Colorful Fans with Controller T3SYC3-6. It does not communicate with my computer so i cant see the fan rpms and cant control the fan speed. i also have a Z-sync controller that can connect to the motherboard via usb 2.0. Can someone please help me so i know where to connect it to my motherboard. I have a Asus x299 mark 2 motherboard.

Into an available USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. I see two 2.0 headers on the board, and 2 3.0 headers on the board. USB 2.0 headers are on the bottom edge.

yea i seen it in the diagram i just wanted to make sure. im gonna test one fan at first. does a regular fan controller connect to motherboard via usb connection or fan header usually?

Depends on the fan controller type, but most RGB ones tend to connect to USB if they aren't completely independent of the system.
