trying to install windows 10 but cant get past where do you want to install windows.

i get the error windows cant be installed on this disk. this computers hardware may not support booting to this disk. ensure that the disks controller is enabled in the computers bios..
the next button is not grayed out and when i click that i get the error we couldnt create a new partition or locate an existing one.

so, ive tried creating a new partition and formatting to ntsf in cmd that did nothing ive also tried resetting bios setting to default that did nothing but remove the usb boot and i had to figure out how to get that back.

any help would be great thanks.

Solution
I would assume that the current partition table is MBR. Windows 10, when booted in UEFI, requires the disk to be GPT. This means that in your case, you will either need to use legacy boot, or you will need to convert the entire disk into GPT. This implies deleting all partitions.
