Perfectly working MSI Z390-A PRO system lost video output (discrete GPU) then audio and then turned off completely while playing Elden Ring. Tried to reboot and got a brief flash of CPU EZDebug LED (and brief PSU fan rotation) and then blackness. Period. Over the next minute or so the system, apparently trying to boot, did the same thing 2-3 more times. As I now suspect my initial understanding of the debug LEDs was wrong, I purchased another CPU on eBay, just popped it in and had my system do the same thing. I researched and found that if the CPU LED lights, then the CPU is detected and OK. Correct?

And if the next LED, for DRAM, does NOT light then the DRAM is bad? No, right? If the DRAM was bad the LED would come on and stay on, right? The behavior I am seeing means that the MOTHERBOARD has failed, right?
