As the title says I have been looking for a 1440p 144hz 27" Freesync monitor for my setup however I have really been struggling to find one that isnt a ridiculously high price.

Could anybody give me some advice or suggestions on what monitor I should look at buying?

Should I look at 24" Monitors instead or maybe even lower the resolution to 1080p? What can be recommended?

PC Specifications:
MOBO: Asus x Maximus Hero
CPU: Intel i7 8700k
GPU: Zotac GTX 1070Ti 8GB
RAM: Corsair 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 Gold 850w

this MSI also has Free-sync but this doesn't mean it will work with Nvidia (g-sync), you should check it online or ask someone that owns it if it works.
Right okay I will see what I can find. Do you reckon I should look for a different specification of monitor at all? Like 1440p 24" or even go down to 1080p? If it was you what you you do?

my vote goes for DELL S2719DGF
It has TN panel, not IPS or VA but surprisingly good colors for TN.
Check the reviews online. Also works (unofficially) with nVidia GPUs (aka G-sync)
I have this monitor and will second this recommendation! Went from an msi optix 1080 to this and love it. Can't comment on color accuracy, as it's only my second real monitor. But I used a thread on here for a similar monitor, and to me, it's pretty great.
Here's the thread I used for color setup: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/1440p-monitors.3484432/

Told you, I went from 1080p 60Hz to this monitor (1440p 155Hz with Sync) and difference is night and day. Can only recommend it!

Yes I am very excited. the monitor I have now is really old and I get screentearing, flickering and whatever else haha. Pretty sure its less than 24" too so will be a big difference there. Thanks for the help.
