I have been at the computer stores looking for a video card, but there seems to be a lack of info on the packages and even on the manufactures' websites.
Here is what I am looking for:
A full-size PCI card that has two video ports (2 DVIs or one DVI and one VGA).
At least 256MB of VRAM
Both connectors support portrait modes. I don't know the resolutions yet because I am still shopping for the two monitors that will be used with this card. I am looking for a resolution where the width has to be over a thousand pixels. Getting the monitors is easy compared to getting the video card so I want to make sure I have the card first before deciding on the monitors.
The computer that this card will go into already has a PCIe card that is currently plugged into two monitors that are in landscape mode. However I need to add two more monitors in portrait mode. I cannot understand why the manufactures of these cards never put the resolutions supported by these cards.
My price range is about $150.
