I am in the process of making a parts list for a computer that I will be gaming on. I am stuck on what CPU I should get (I am stuck between choosing the quad-core i5-4460 clocked at 3.2Ghz for $176.95, or an older Octa-core FX-8320 clocked at 3.5Ghz for 139.99.) I will also be showing the list of parts because I am not to knowledgeable when it comes to building a PC, and I could have put a part that would not work with the others. My budget will allow for anything as long as it is around $700 in total. I have not picked a GPU yet because I am unsure of which one to get as of right now. For the GPU, I was looking at the 380 2gb version, but would it be better to spend the extra money and get the 4gb version?

The 8320 uses four AMD modules, only marketing really makes it eight cores (it has eight integer units, but only four floating point units and all three sets units have to share resources within one module)

In almost all circumstances, the Intel system is better.

2GB is enough for a card in this class. 4Gb is for higher resolution or multiple monitor set-ups.

I changes the PSU to a better, more reliable one, and the AMD system is at it's limit, in fact, I should have put a 620 to 65W PSU in that system,
