Hey there so I have been planning to build a PC for quite a while, and I had a build in mind. Though I wanted help from people that have a more knowledge in mostly all areas of a computer, so I can get more bang for my buck on this build. My budget is $1300-$1400(with shipping). This is the build I have made if you want to it might be easier to perfect this... http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Royaltyyyy/saved/JDQKHx

Must Haves

Monitor
Disk Drive
Hard copy of windows (7/8 don’t really care)

Uses

Heavy Gaming
Everyday use
Streaming
Quite a bit of work in Cinema 4D

Thanks in advance,

Solution
Your build is very reasonable and appropriate.

The cooler will come with paste, no need for as5.

FWIW.
I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
120gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games. Samsung EVO is a good choice. 120gb can fill up quickly, 240gb is better.
Intel 730 is OK too.

Solution
Excellent build, but as geofelt stated, I would recommend you get yourself an SSD and place your Windows and heavy demanding programs on it. As Windows and heavy demand programs will load faster on the SSD thus allowing more work done.

Ok Thanks so much from both of you

EVGA are a reputable brand for PSUs too, so his PSU should do just fine with no problems.

Thats the same as getting a cx unit, and saying Corsair is still good. EVGA budget psus are just as bad or worst than the CX units. Only higher end like b2, g2 series are good quality. The Nex is crap.

Only higher end psus from Corsair and Evga are good quality (As the higher end psus are actually made by seasonic and rebranded)

All Xfx units are made by Seasonic, as is almost every Antec unit.

I have talked to multiple people about that power supply they said it would be perfectly fine so I am going to stick with what I have, but thanks for the suggestion maybe somebody else will see and it will help them out 😉.

Okay, i tried to warn you :) but, it should work fine for max of ~5 years. Im just suggesting getting a better quality Psu as it will last you minimum of ~8-10 years, my last antec unit lasted me 14.5 years even with overclocking heavily. And if its about the same price why not?

Thanks again for the warning. Since I am not building the PC probably for like a month I will look into that area of my system some more! 😀
