My budget is around $700-$1000.

I'm going to be doing some light gaming, meaning I want to be able to run World of Warcraft and maybe Maplestory on max settings. I'm a console gamer and I mainly need a new PC because I've been using an old cheap PoS for far too long, so I won't be interested in running Battlefield 4 or Far Cry 3 on max settings.

When I end up figuring this build out I'm planning on buying a capture card to start up a gaming channel so I'll also be doing some video editing eventually. I'm a college student so I'll be using Photoshop/Illustrator/MS Office as well. I'll be downloading a bunch of movies too.

A guy in my college's computer lab talked to me for about an hour and helped me look for parts on newegg and tigerdirect but the price came to around $1200, but I think he was assuming I wanted a hardcore gaming machine. He basically listed an i5 Intel Processor, 16 gigs of ram, a 2tb hdd, a 128gb ssd, 650w power, dvd drive, but I forgot what motherboard, case, and graphics card he picked out. I wish I would've wrote some of that stuff down T_T

I'm an amateur at this so I appreciate any help you can give. Thank you ^_^

A bit exceeded your budget so look for this build!
