Sorry if this may be a dumb question or request but im generally confused on my motherboard temperature. ive been doing research about speccy and the faulty motherboard reader, because speccy says my motherboard is 113C, Bios says 25 C. i have some other programs downloaded as well for reading temperatures. but im confused on how to tell which one is my motherboard temperature. As for one program it shows under "motherboard" i have 4 different temperatures. Another program says i have 3, and another has random words under the "motherboard" section. but anyways. if there are multiple temperatures under "motherboard" how should i know what the overall temp is as displayed in BIOS or speccy? is it an estimate? im confused sorry. Just bought a brand new PC and making sure everything is well in it.

There are multiple temp sensors on a motherboard. Which one relates to which sensor in different programs is a minefield.

You have a sensor for PCH (Your chipset), VRM (Voltage Regulator), MCH (Memory controller hub), and so on... Chipset is often the hottest.

HWMonitor and Speedfan (though speedfan can be difficult to set up if you've not had experience with it before), are two programs that might give more accurate information. Old versions of these sorts of programs may not have support for various sensors on newer motherboards, which results in inaccurate readings, such as temps over 100%, so always make sure you are using the latest version of any monitoring program(s).

Your bios reading is generally close to the real temp...

It's unlikely that your new PC has motherboard temp issues.
