Hi there,

I hope this is the right forum to post this in, apologies if not. I am also not the most computer savvy person so please bare with me. I have a Asus ROG GR8 II-T069Z and accidentally changed some of the BIOS settings incorrectly while trying to get out of a BIOS loop. I now have to manually reset CMOS from the motherboard but cannot find where the CMOS jumper is on the mobo. I have reached out to Asus support but it is out of their scope and they won't assist me on pointing out where it is located. Could someone please assist in pointing out where the jumper is? I see the CMOS battery but it's wired and seems difficult to remove (I prefer not to unless I have no other choice).

Thanks in advance!

Removing the CMOS battery should not be that hard. It looks like it is just plugged in to the motherboard. Once it is removed hold down the power button for 15 seconds to release the power from your motherboards capacitors. After about 1-2 minutes plug the CMOS back in and it should reset the BIOS.

Let me know if there is anything else you need.
