Need help! Monitor not receiving signal

I just built my first rig about a month ago and was using a old spare Mac monitor until I got a new one. Yesterday I got a monitor off craigslist and took it home to use, it worked fine on less intensive games like fortnite. But when I got back from work to play rust, my computer was being unusually slow so I powered it off for the night. Next morning I try to turn on computer and it says no hdmi signal (to the monitor). I've tried other cords and switching what sides they plugin to. Anybody have advice? Thanks in advance.

Hi, can you test with another monitor/TV by chance? If so - try a different monitor to confirm the issue is PC based. d
Does your PC have a dedicated graphics card installed? If so - try removing the card and plugging into the video out port (HDMI, VGA etc.) on your motherboard itself and test again.
