Hello,
If you guys could help me with this I would be very grateful.
I am looking to build a desktop for Rendering within Maya 2013.
What processors are best for rendering in Maya?
What processor, ram, gfx card combination is best within my budget for Rendering?

Approximate Purchase Date: within 6 weeks

Budget Range: £1500 ?

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Primary purpose is to Render animations on Maya 2013, Video Editing, animating within Maya 2013.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Location: Stoke On Trent, England, UK.

Parts Preferences: Quadro 2000 gfx card.

Overclocking: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution:1920x1080

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I currently animate in Maya 2013 on a Samsung RF511 Laptop, i5 2410m 2.3 Ghz, 6Gb RAM, GeForce GT 540M gfx card, I want a dedicated desktop to render my animations, and animate on if my laptop dies. I am not sure what components to choose for rendering. I am thinking that a Quadro 2000 gfx card would be a good choice. If so what system do I build around it?

couldn't fit a Quadro, noticed that all decent Quadros are upwards of 600 pounds, this build is the most powerful u can get for the price, u can add another 770 down the line
