need help oc to 3ghz on stock cooler

From what I can tell you should be able to go into the bios and start raising the FSB multiplier until is gets to too high of a temperature under load, thats not a massive overclock for a dual core, I just don't know how bad the cooler is.

You could just install an E8500 3.16GHz 2 core.

Or tapemod the E7300 to 3.33 GHz (the same as changing fsb to 333). Or E7400 3.5GHz, E7500 3.66GHz.
