ok im having problems getting past 3.4GHz...

My mobo is MSI P6N SLI Platinum (NVIDIA 650i)
CPU is Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0GHz
(if anyone wants more specs just ask)

i built this system just over 1 year ago and i OC'ed it a little to 3.15GHz but recently im wanting to OC more, i can get upto 3.4GHz (378x9) stable with cpu core at 1.31v and NB (650i) at 1.35v (from default of 1.25v) and with FSB 378 (1512 QDR) and RAM (6gb Mushkin XP2 PC2 8500 (2x2gb + 2x1gb) at 1:1 or 9:10 at 756MHz (2.0v) or 840MHz (2.05v) (its rated at upto 2.1v)

ive also updated to most recent bios if anyone was wondering...

id like to get at least 3.6GHz (400x9) (1600MHz QDR) with ram 1:1 800MHz but cant seem to get it stable ive tried adding a little voltage to about everything but it always crashes after a few min in prime95 and in memtest and in 3dmark06

any suggestions would be much appreciated

you can't push every processort to whatever you want.... If it doesn't run stable try increasing voltages(Vcore.... and Fsb+0.1). If it's already to hot just leave it as it is!

yeah i know i cant, but most e6850's with G0 stepping should hit at least like 3.6Ghz...
it doesnt run too hot, just 28c idle and 54c load...

i havnt tried raising the FSB voltage, i have tried vcore from 1.25-1.4 (at 1.32v now)
i guess ill try raising the FSB voltage alittle and will get back to you...
