Hi, I need help choosing a monitor. I do gaming, video-editing, graphic design, digital art, web-browsing and just reading. I work with photoshop, sony vegas, adobe premiere and etc.

I'm thinking of getting dual monitors just because I multi-task a lot and it would let me get things done faster. Right now, I have a TN monitor- and it looks awful whenever I do editing and drawing.

An obvious would probably be an IPS monitor. But I game competitively and casually. I'm mostly into FPS games.

The games I play are TF2, CS:GO and I will be playing Overwatch and Quake too. I'm not a professional competitive gamer but I do enjoy the competitive scene.
So because of the games I play, I'm not sure whether an IPS monitor would cut it.

I'm on a tight budget but I don't mind saving a lot for a decent monitor. I don't mind losing the idea of having dual monitors but if I find one good monitor then I'm fine with only having one.

I've thought about getting 1 TN and 1 IPS. I think that would be nice. And I won't have to spend as much. But then the colors won't match up to each other, the monitors will look weird beside each other and i'm worried about the IPS monitor looking slower than the TN (like when I move my cursor on the other side for example) But do you think it would be worth it?

My specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
b350M mortar arctic
RX580

Monitor Choices:

1) LG 23MP68VQ-P
- I chose this because it's not cheap but not expensive either. It's IPS and it has 75hz and freesync

2) Viewsonic xg3202
- This is twice the price as the LG one. If I get this then I won't get 2 monitors. It is VA though.
I don't really know much about VA monitors, since i've never had one. This has freesync as well.
This monitor is really expensive here but I wouldn't mind saving up for if it's worth my money.

These are the only monitors I have researched about and have taken into consideration. I don't mind getting a TN Monitor if it can produce really good colors. If you have any recommendations and suggestions please do say! I'm also sorry for this long block of text. :-(

So, it's not terribly a problem if you have 2 monitors for 2 different purposes, and probably cheaper. Getting an IPS that can run CSGO at good FPS with no lag is very expensive, but getting a TN panel to do it is pretty cheap. If you need to look at something with the proper colors, than you just drag it over to your IPS monitor took at.

But if for example you wanted just an good IPS monitor: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LW5CGIS but that is fairly expensive, and you seem to be in the $300 price range.

So for a dual monitor solution (which is actually great for productivity):
IPS: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WOSL12W
Free-sync, 144hz: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BV1XBEI
And this comes out to $300 as well, but you get 2 monitors, for...
