Hello, I'm looking at getting a new pc within the week. I already have a GPU (3060TI) that a friend is giving me.

I am not familiar with pricing where you are, however, I think if you limited your budget on the case type and cooler type you could probably get into an i7. I might also consider going with 32GB of RAM rather than 16.

Noctua 12a if you want more room and performs similarly to D15, not far behind. More than enough for 13600k if that's what you're settling for. 12a can also handle i7 and i9 to give you some idea of it's performance.

I agree with ram idea going 32gb off the bat. 16gb has been enough for along time but 32gb is nearing the new normal.

For case, maybe look at Lian Li instead if you're still considering d15 cooler. It's a little wider and can accommodate raised fan to clear ram slots. Which you won't need to do with the 12a. Lian Li Mesh Performance is a nice case though, have worked with three of these, very nice. Just make sure it comes with usbc cable already connected to front panel header because it is optional.

You need change nothing.

If you will be doing any sort of multitasking while gaming, then a 2 x 16gb low profile ram kit might be better 3600 speed is the sweet spot.

If it's for the AMD build, yes. Is that an issue of some type?

At 1080p with the GTX 3060 both the 5800x3d and 13600k max out the gpu. Get what's cheaper.

I built almost the same pc (see signature) a couple of weeks ago but I'm using a GTX 40470 TI for 1440p gaming. The performance is quite amazing.
