ok I have a asylum 5900 ultra and a MSI K7N2. Everytime I run the nvidia demos the computer freezes. Most games work ok, but I have a lot of problems with SWG and it not even getting into the game without it crashing to the desktop. I'm going to exchange the card today if someone from here can't help me to get it work. Last thing I tried to make it work is to disable the graphic card bios shaddowing. I did that and it has at least been stable. I have the latest bios, lastest nvidia graphic drivers from their website, and the card passes the dxdiag test. I have to goto work and won't be home till 6pm eastern. I"ll just read through the post and try your ideas till one works then I'll paypal the one the $10 US. Also if you have questions I'll be able to respond then. 6pm. gl (this is stupid but I'm desperate)

Take off the side panels on your case!
This will help to cool your PSU so it delivers more and cleaner power.
You GPU is also likely to run cooler.
Reduce options used if possible. This too may reduce power consumption (but I think someone already said that).

Oh boy $10!!!! I can smell it now!

J/K, anyway this might help you determine if heat or power is part of the problem. See if it runs a little longer this way.

Did you have another type of card in there before and did you properly get rid of the old drivers?

I had a similar problem some time back with the Asylum Ti4600. I emailed tech support with my system specs, who sent me a reply back asking me for my specs. I shrugged and sent them again. No response.

I fixed my problem by returning the card and buying an ATI Radeon 9700 pro. Works without problems at all. Converted me totally to ATI -- at least for now.
