Hello, I really hope someone could help me with my problem.
Currently I'm experiencing PC restart when I tried to play Tomb Rider (2013) on Geforce Experience optimal setting, which is quite high with TressFX on. I also turn on V-sync, on either double buffer or triple buffer. V-sync setting is normal not adaptive - The PC restarts itself while playing. I have not tried to set the setting down yet.

But I am able to play certain games just fine, without PC restart; these are the examples.

Assassins Creed IV. Geforce Experience optimal setting, V-sync on adaptive setting, with "Nvidia Inspector" V-sync triple buffer. - No PC restart, reduced screen tearing.

Batman Arkham Origin. Geforce Experience optimal setting, V-sync on normal setting. - No PC restart.

Batman Arkham Origin. Geforce Experience optimal setting, V-sync on normal setting, with "Nvidia Inspector" V-sync triple buffer. - PC restarts itself while playing.

Saints Row IV. Geforce Experience optimal setting, V-sync on adaptive setting. - No PC restart.

Saints Row IV. Geforce Experience optimal setting, V-sync on normal or adaptive setting, with "Nvidia Inspector" V-sync triple buffer. - PC restarts itself while playing.

Counter Strike: GO. Geforce Experience optimal setting. - No PC restart.

Total War: Rome II. Geforce Experience optimal setting (the optimal wasn't very high setting). - No PC restart.

My PC spec:
- M/B Gigabyte Z77-D3H
- i7 3770 - with Coolermaster Hyper 212x
- Ram 32Gb DDR3
- HD WD Blue 1TB
- HD WD Blue 320Gb
- VGA MSI GTX 670 Power Edition
- PSU Corsair GS 600
- 4 120mm Coolermaster fan, 2 in, 2 out, quite cool Air Conditioned room.
All the component is quite new, except for HDs or the PSU - which is 2 year 9 month old.

I had this kind of problem before with Assassins Creed IV and Arkham Origin, back then it turns out to be my stabilizer which only support 500w output, I bought a UPS with 700w outage to fix this previous problem. But this current problem can't be fix even by bypassing the UPS straight to the power outlet, so it isn't the UPS's fault.

I ran Memtest86+ with no problem, Furmark and 3dMark test with no problem either. HWinfo for PC temp and everything seems normal temp. I don't have a spare PSU to test my PC with. But is my PSU is at fault here? Could it be the PSU overheat, due to dust inside it? Or it could not give enough voltage? Please help.

On a side note: I'm experiencing minor cold boot loop, which is quite common when I searched the web about gigabyte motherboard, I haven't had the chance to try updating the bios to fix it (since I have zero experience in updating bios). I don't know if it had anything to do with this current issue.

Thanks for reading this.

The problem was the power supply. Tested with another psu at a computer shop and it works fine, I managed to get the game running fine by removing the ups and power strip. But after a couple of hour of tomb rider 2013 the computer restarted (the time till it restarts was quite random). Before this the computer couldn't even get past the first cutscenes.

I'm certain that the psu couldn't give a stable flow of electricity, it could give the power needed to play most games fine, but higher graphic setting means higher power, and I think it was quite unstable on peak load. It could be caused by a number of things one which is dust and heat related, which I couldn't fix because opening the psu means breaking the warranty.

After I rma my GS600 and got a new one. The computer works fine, the games works fine without restart, I decided to add 2 more case fan and dust filters on my case fan, for added protection.

The cold boot loop also disappears, at first I thought it was because of the gigabyte motherboard, I even upgrade it to the latest bios with no avail. As it turns out, the motherboard could not get enough power from the psu on startup so it loops.
