Hello, i need help underclocking my Acer Aspire 4755G as it's Core temperature is 44C - 63C (HWiNFO64), and running a game is; up to 90C(although 80C is the throttle limit, and VGA is always lower, i've never seen it reach 90C) till windows decide to throttle down itself; in a room of 16C - 20C.
I used a cooler master cooling pad and a portable fan beside my notebook, I've cleaned the internal fan a few times already, not thoroughly i guess, because its kinda frustrating opening it all up, I've only manage to open 'till under the keyboard without forcing anything, but it's showing the internal fan clearly, cleaned it up with a hand blower (DSLR Sensor Cleaning) and the fan rotates smoothly because of the blower...

Min - Max Temperature on Idle and with BlueStacks(only for triggering VGA) + Browser + VLC Media Player:
Core #0: 38C - 61C
Core #1: 42C - 65C
PCH Temperature: 62C - 68C
HDD (WDC WD6400BPVT-22HXZT1): 35C - 35C
VGA (GT 540M): 38C - 51C

Notebook:
Acer Aspire 4755 Intel Core i5-2410M CPU @ 2.3GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.9Ghz 8GB-RAM
NVIDIA OPTIMUS; GeForce GT 540M 2GB up to 3761 MB TurboCache
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Is there a simple way like a software or such to underclock it, or any advice, tips, tricks and whatnot handling this temperature thingy.

Thanks in advance~

Edit: I noticed I posted in the wrong category, is there any moderator online, can move my thread, or is it ok to be in this CPU section? Sorry if I'm wrong, and thanks. 😀

Hi, here is your help, in the form of me. I happen to have the successor to this laptop and when I had cooling issues I bought a laptop cooling stand thing from amazon really good. Also you can't fiddle with any form of clocking on a laptop. Also whats your usage. And try cleaning the fan a little
