No any brand will not do. I said a good brand. There are too many Chinese crap out there which can not hold their backups against a strip of LED's.

APC will be my first choice. And the safest choice considering future upgrades will be APC 1100 VA.
Yes, it does matter :)

You want the UPS to keep on working after you get the video card, and any other items - so you should plan ahead. I assume you want the monitor and speakers to work when the power is out, but you have not specified what they are.

Given the power supply, that computer (without the monitor and speakers) would work fine with a 750 VA UPS (the power supply would never draw more power than that). In the configuration you list, along with stereo speakers and a 24 inch monitor, you could run the system on as little as a 550 VA UPS (but I would not recommend it).

Ideally you would use a unit with at least 800 VA like:

or from Amazon at:

but can i use that UPS arpund 800 VA without the GPU yet? or it can damaage the system?
im planning to buy a monitor around 18.5 inches thats enough size for me, and im not using speakers just headphones.
what woukd you suggest then? 800 VA will do? please reply really need help

so can i use the 800 VA UPS without my GPU yet?

so the safest choice would be 800 VA? any brand would do but it should be 800 VA? what brands would you suggest?
