I'm considering replacing my NVidia GeForce 8500 GT GPU, because of it's crap.

I don't really know much about buying computer stuff. For example, i bought a DDR3 RAM. But it turns out that my motherboard is supporting DDR2 slots
(yes i know i suck). I don't want to make the wrong decision again. So i'm asking you guys. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 @ 2.10 GHz motherboard. Any suggestions? I would like a video card which is not excellent or perfect but a little bit of above average :3

how much do want to spend and are you a nvidia or radeon fan ??

Yeah well personally i like Nvidia better quality But lets not get into that lol, yeah you could go for some like a HD radeon 6450 or 7750 i thing is bit more expensive but wouild probaly want something that you do not have to upgrade your power supply for it would get power from PCI-E slot on motherboard 6450 is about the price your looking it is dirtect x 11 card i think check though not 100% sure, if you would rather go with nvidia look and see equivelant but it sounds like you do not want a card which requires extra power from your psu UNLESS OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE A DECENT PSU

updated yes actually HD radeon 6450 is a gddr5 card and supports direct x 11 just checked lower consumption 31 watts from your motherboards pci-e slot
