Hi, I don't know where to post this and since I have window 2000 on my computer, I'll post it here. Since I build my computer 6 months ago (I must did a lousy job) I am having core dumps on my computer. Sometimes it happens out of nowhere whether I'm playing game or surfing the net. After the blue screen came up, different problem are shown each time etc... ati3d.exe or a file call nrtkol.exe. I try to fix the problem my reinstalling my driver for my video card and win2k. But nothing works. It has been better 1-2 core dump every 2 weeks where it has been 2 core dump a day. I am sure it is not overheating or some crap like that since i have an air condition on near by. Please any suggest will be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

P4 2gz
ati radeon 8500
512 ddr (which i am very suspicious because i bought it cheap on the internet)

Did you mean you re-installed Windows?
If yes, then did you formatted your hard drive and had a 'clean install' or just over-wrote the existing files?
If your answer is a clean install then it seems something wrong with the ram.

I am providing the links to a couple of well recognised 'memory cheching softwares'.
