Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.com, Amazon.com, Tigerdirect, Frys, computer central.
Location: San Jose,CA
Parts Preferences: Intel Core i7-3770K.. SSD for OS and couple of most played games.. (128gb)
Overclocking: I want to overclock, but not till later and nothing extreme, maybe to 4.5 ghz
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, for now single card, not top shelf but better then average
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 Already have
Additional Comments: Somewhat quiet, just not loud. I want to be able to play battlefield3 on highest settings that budget lets me, Also want to be able to play Formula1 2012, GTA5, skyrim,crysis2, dirt, all the games that are out right now and will be out for couple of years if possible.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: The PC Im using right now is a big ol' workstation I bought for $35 from someone, its a 3.2ghz Pentium 4 based Xeon.. makes weird noises.. runs hot.. and uses up way to much power. Im past due on upgrade and want to do my fist build now that I can afford to get something decent for the first time.

Ok so I already got the processor because I got a good deal on it. I just need to build on that. I don't need.. monitor, mouse, keyboard. I do want SSD and storage drive ~1TB. I will be adding a sound card later on when I buy monitor type speakers.
MOTHERBOARD: I have no idea on which to get, my friend gave me this suggestion...
ASUS P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard -- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131819
but would this one be good enough?
ASRock Z77 Extreme6 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard -- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157295
MEMORY: Initially I been thinking get 16gb, but Im not sure if I need that much, what I want is for the PC to be snappy, very little internet lag while scrolling or playing videos. I don't know the difference between getting ddr3-1800 or ddr3-2100 I want it to be fast but I don't want too little of it, and of course don't want to go over budget.
STORAGE: I want a SSD for sure. 128gb or higher IF there is a really good black friday deal. and a storage drive around 1TB.
GRAPHICS: Something maybe 3GB and can handle high settings gaming. I would be happy playing Formula1 2012, BF3, all latest on high settings, 1080p.
AUDIO: I want to buy nice monitor speakers and a high quality soundcard for FL Studio and music enjoyment later on, for now I will probably get a 7.1 headset for gaming. I dont know which slot (pci or pci-e) I should have available for that upgrade when the time comes.
CASE,PSU,CPU COOLER , ETC... Whatever else is needed that I know I probably missed that I need.
PRICING: I planned on getting all my parts during this black friday if they are on sale.
PARTSPICKER: What do you guys think of these builds?
found this on this site... http://pcpartpicker.com/p/osy8
This is my starting point...just an idea, no Idea about half the components.. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/oBhW
PS: Im sure Im repeating myself as I type, or not making sense. Im sorry in advance.. Im very tired from 7 day work week and very little sleep . I hope I made sense. Any help would be appreciated
