Make these changes.

The cpu you have chosen has a TDP of 125 watts .. that board's VRM's along with your choice of cpu cooler won't handle it.

And whatever you and your dad do while building this new computer, make sure you have fun doing it.
Don't get discouraged if something doesn't work. Come back on this forum and explain the problem and there's a good chance you'll get some help and advice.

There's a lot of things that can go wrong with electronics but when you're all done and everything is working, it's a great feeling.

Enjoy!!

Although your list works, there are a few things I changed, and here is my rationale.

The i5 10600KF is a good CPU, however if runs pretty hot. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 could easily be overwhelmed by that CPU in some tasks, so I swapped in a beefier but well priced cooler.

$80 for a 500gb NVME is pretty steep, even if the 970 EVO is a good drive. The Team X330 1tb offers strong performance, good endurance ratings, and a great price, at just $10 more than the 500gb Samsung 970.

I swapped the case out for the mesh version, which will have improved temperatures.

You don't need to go with a very expensive or high wattage PSU for this system. The cheaper 550w SuperFlower Leadex III is a very good unit, and is probably pretty similar to the EVGA G2 in your list, which id designed by SuperFlower inside.

The monitor in your list was unavailable, so I swapped it for a reputable one that is.
