Please, I need a lot of help!! Its been driving me crazy trying to find a good G. card. I just put together my system with a 1gig t-bird, abit KT7-Raid, 256meg, and other little goodies. I play a lot of 3D games (Unreal and Half Life) and also watch a lot of dvds. So I'm looking for a 32 or a good 64. What would be the best in both departments. Price is not really the problem but I don't want to spend $400 to $500 on a card. So please help, your input would be of graet importance.

Read some benchmarks and come up with your own decision... but if your too lazy then I'll give some suggestions:

Budget: ATi Radeon 32 meg DDR or GF2 MX 32meg SDR $80-100
Average: GF2 Pro 32meg DDR $169-200
Good: GF2 Ultra 64meg DDR- $335-400

The budget cards will run all newer games at least 30fps. Quake 3 and Unreal T- somewhere around 60fps at 1024x768 32bit color

I'd definetely recommend a GeForce2 Pro. It offers serious framerates at a reasonable price.
The GeForce2 GTS is a bit slower (but still fast) and also a tad cheaper.

I got the Asus V7700 deluxe GF2 with video in/out in retail box for like $220. It is an awesome card. Very fast and lots of features for the $$$.
