What PSU wattage would you recommend for an AMD FX 8120 (which I plan to over clock), Hyper 212 EVO, R9 280X, ASUS M5A97 EVO, 60gb SSD, 3TB HDD, a few case fans etc. Thanks all!

Lots of questions, its not often I get the opportunity to upgrade so I need to make it count!

Solution
AMD FX-8120 Desktop Processor featuring Zambezi core is a 8-core 3.1GHz processor rated at 125W. I recommend a good power supply with more than 500w to overclock it stably in the long term. When you overclock, it will require a lot more power and therefore should pick a PSU that can supply a lot more than the maximum power that will be required for overclocking.

Solution
Mark's calculation is great. I recommend to go a step above to have a 750w or 800w power supply, so it's won't even be stressed in any scenarios. The power supply would last longer and provide better protection since it's running with more room to spare.

Agreed, more extra watts never hurts
