Need help on R9 270

Hi folks,

I have installed a graphics card in my system and found some abnormalities. Screen goes off for a second and turns back ON on its own. This happens rarely but it never happened before the graphics card. Clearly its due to Gcard but I couldn't figure out why it is happening. Please help me figure out.

Here is my spec,
GPU - Sapphire R9 270
CPU - i5 4570
Mobo - Gigabyte H97m D3H
PSU - Corsair VS650
RAM - Corsair Vengence 4GB x2
Monitor - Samsung 27inch

I have installed the driver cd that came along with the card.(AMD catalyst)
HDMI is used for connecting GPU & monitor.

Install the latest driver from AMD, the CD that came with the GPU was pretty much outdated the day it was printed.
