Hi

I am using ROG Extreme V and running 2 SSD's on RAID 0 for my Win 8.1. So far so good, no issues with this RAID. Now i want to make 2 identical HDD's and put them on RAID 0 for media storage and when i go to RAID settings through the MB BIOS i get an error "Not enough space to create RAID" as a matter of fact the utility does not show the 2 HDD's.
I already formatted the HDD's and went to BIOS to enable the RAID on them but still unable to do it. I am assuming that i need to remove my RAID and start from scratch but it will be hectic to reinstall everything.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Your ASMedia SATA ports on your motherboard do not support RAID.
So double-check that your HDDs are not connected to ports SATA6G_E1 through SATA6G_E4. See page 1-43 of your motherboard manual for the location of the ASMedia ports.

Connect your HDDs to the Intel SATA ports on your board.
