Hello,

I am trying to upgrade my PC (especially my CPU) so that I can play my games with a higher FPS (a stable 60fps) on 1080p. My budget is around $600-$700 CAD (~$450 USD). Please check out my parts below. I was wondering why my PC couldn't run games such as GTA V, MHW on at least 60fps so I looked it up then realized that some games needed better CPU. I have an idea on what to get but I haven't decided on which ones yet.

Want:
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600/Ryzen 5 3600x
Mobo: B450 Tomahawk Max/ROG Strix B450-F
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB)

My PC parts:
CPU: Intel Core i5-750 OC 3.2GHZ 4C 4T w/ Intel Stock Cooler
Mobo: Asus P7H55-M PRO
GPU: Sapphire NITRO+ Rx 580 8GB GDDR5
RAM: Unknown 8 GB
Storage:
SSD: Adata SU650 120GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB
PSU: Corsair TX 650W

Get the B450 Tomahawk Max with the Ryzen 5 3600 (you don't really get any extra performance with the 'X' version) and you should be good.
