My budget is £160 on a ram, CPU and GPU that will run games on medium at 720p for a Youtube channel. I will upgrade in future this is something to start off. I need 8gb ram and hopefully ram that has a heatsink installed as my case has a window and I want everything to look nice. My power supply can handle everything, as it's a 500w EVGA 80+ powersupply that I got as agift. I'm not saving up for more, it would take too long, and I'm in the best situiation to start my channel, and don't want to put it off for much long

You'd be looking at ~35FPS average with that x4 845 in modern AAA games. Though less demanding games like csgo you could easily achieve 60+ FPS.

Though as said, you said you want to upgrade in future, and the x4 845 will not make that easy. And with recording/editing I can see you'd want more CPU power in the future.
Is this 160£ for all three (CPU, gpu, ram) combined? It £160 for each. Do you need motherboard?

For motherboard, gpu, ram, and CPU together you'd have to spend atleast £250 pounds for new parts without scavenging for deals.

Motherboard would depend on the cpu AMD or Intel. I found one like this: amd athlon X4 845, gt 1030 and patriot viper 2x4gb kit ddr3 2133mhz ram. Dunno if this would be ok for a few games

Yep I found a few that can be done but I'm not sire if its powerful enough. Its an and athlon x4 845 with a gt 1030 and patriot 2x4gb ddr3 2133mhz kit will it run the games though

That CPU is relatively poor performing to start with (comparing to modern CPUs) in games, and it is on a dead platform (no upgrades from it without upgrading motherboard aswell), which doesn't really suit your case.

so the cpu would bottleneck my gpu if i found a gtx 1050 then?

Don't judge me, but I was hoping to squeeze out a few low spec vr titles that I can reduce the quality of, as perfect graphics dont matter that much to me. Also, some popular AAA titles like GTAV Project Cars Overwatch, CS:GO Rocket League, Far Cry. and all of these at 720p at medium to low( high if it can manage it). All this at a 30fps minimum, 60fps, in less demanding games and 100fps in CS:GO. Too much for this price range?

I understand that Intel and and cpus aren't interchangeable I have some knowledge of computers I just want to know better value. After some deal hunting I found that a as rock fm2a68m-dg3+ , x4 845 and a RX 460 will cost around £170 which I can deal with. Is this enough for 720p gaming on medium to high? Along with recording and editing for YouTube?that's alli need to start out. Thanks
