What I know is my fan I ordered is a four pin which I'm told I can control the rpm of the fan

What I don't know is if my motherboard has the required pins to connect the fan with

https://www.supermicro.com/en/products/motherboard/C7H270-CG-ML

This is the fan I ordered

DEEPCOOL RF120 FS 120 mm Case Fans/Cooler 1500 RPM - DP-FLED3-RF120-FS https://www.amazon.in/dp/B088ZGQMCB/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_gl_i_AXC0P3V7X0XXKN1GRR4W

Will my motherboard support this fan? And what happens if i connect it to the wrong pins? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If this is indeed your board there are three 4-pin headers, one for the CPU marked as CPU-FAN1 and the other two you can use for case/chasis fans are marked as SYS_FAN1 and SYS_FAN2 as I marked below:
The headers on motherboard have a plastic notch so the header on fan cable can be connected properly only one way to avoid connecting wrong way around. Hope this helps!
The motherboard doc you linked says it has three fan connectors with 4 pins. They should be what your fans use. It all looks industry standard to me.

Wondering about the 450 dollar price. A pack of 25?

How do I know which header I should insert the fan to? There are lots of pins here...Outside of the CPU fan cooler this is a fan I'm in nstalling for the case. Right now from where I'm looking at the pc, I see a lot of pins. Will the pc explode if i insert the fan to the wrong pins?

Also...it's 450 INR for just one not for 25 😂

Your motherboard should have a manual, downloadable from SuperMicro with full details on connectors.

The 4 pin fan connectors are normally around the perimeter of the motherboard. Scattered, not side by side.

I can't tell from the picture I see, but they will be in plain sight and marked.

They should be marked with words like "Fan 1", "Fan 2"....or possibly Sysfan or Cha (for chassis")....something like that. It should be obvious.

The 4 pin connectors are equivalent. Any of the 3 would work. Use the one that the connecting cable will reach.

Thank you all for your help. My only last question is what happens if i need to insert a fan if all the fan headers are filled in?

My case is this Corsair Carbide Series CC-9011050-WW Mid-Tower Steel Gaming Case with Red LED (Black) https://www.amazon.in/dp/B00I6BJATW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_gl_i_7YG603MFXZ1Q19ZP34YT

So I'm going to insert this one behind. This case has another three available fan slots. Two on top and one on the bottom front.

There are splitters and there are fan hubs.

I've never used either, but lots of people do.

Entirely possibly you won't need more than the 3 for temperature purposes.....but you may want to run 10 fans with lights because you like the look. Up to you.
