Right lads I was wondering if one of yous could help me out overclocking my hardware. I saw a video and I tried to follow it but I was on an Asus mobo and the settings were totally different than my Gigabyte one. I have 16gb of corsair vengeance 3200mhz ram, ryzen 5 2600 and the Gigabyte Aorus Pro, I tried to simply oc to 4ghz on the CPU and 3200mhz but the pc wouldn't boot so I figured I'd keep it stock until I get some help. I also have the arctic freezer 34 esports duo so temperature won't be a bother to 4.2ghz I believe.

Yeah you want to work up to that frequency.

I recommend you start at 1.35v at 3.9ghz, that should definitely work on Ryzen 2000 chips. Once you run a stress tester like OCCT for 15 minutes, and it passes. Try 4.0ghz. If that doesn't work, go back down to 3.9ghz and start lowering voltages. Then work up to 30 minute stress tests, eventually for your last runs, you'll want to go to 8 hours at the least.
