So I have a new 1080p monitor and I really want to test it out but my custom gtx 980 ti won't come in for another 2.5 weeks. therefore I am stuck with my old gtx 660 non ti. I have looked around pretty good and can't find any tutorials on how to actually overclock it. This is also my first time overclocking. I keep getting redirected to this website but from what I understand it's how to further overclock. http://www.overclock.net/t/1330897/official-gtx-660-non-ti-owners-club
So if somebody could find a full walk through of at least detail how, in simple terms, for the 660 non ti that would be helpful. Thankyou

What are your full specs including PSU make and model? To overclock, I run a firestrike benchmark to get a base score to compare with, once I have that score, I add 10Mhz to the core clock and apply it, then I run firestrike again and see if the score goes up (while watching out for artifacts, overheating or crashes), I repeat until the score stops going up or it becomes unstable. Then I back it down to the core clock that achieved the highest score without instability and run a benchmark loop for an hour or two to check for long term stability.

I hope this block of text makes sense and I hope it helps you out :)
