Hi everyone, as the title says I'd love some help with overclocking my new 770 card.

Specs---------------------
CPU: i7 - 940 @ 2.9ghz
GPU: EVGA 770 4GB
M/B: ASUS P6TD Deluxe
Mem: 12GB Crucial
PSU: Corsair 1000w
HDD: 2TB @ 7200 RPM

(no water cooling, stock everything, and nothing currently OC'd)

What I've done thus far ---
Installed card, updated drivers (320.49), set Nvidia power options to Max performance, installed and briefly used Precision X.

Without changing any voltage, I've slowly added more Mhz to the GPU core and MemClock in small increments to see if I could boost in-game FPS. However I reach a point around +75Mhz on the core where the game will stall and give me a dxgi_error_device_reset / hung error.

Precision X shows that the Mhz reaches 1300, but then drops back down to 1200 after the game stalls.

My goal ---
To maximize the card's potential without straining it - and my system as a whole. (i guess that's most users' goal, right?)

Solution
Don't use two different utilities. Pick one and set the options in only that one.

Also, the crash means the OC is unstable and you need to raise the voltage. Also, core and memory have their own voltage.
Also, the 770 is modified kepler, and is essentially a 680 pushed to its limits. Therefore overclocking it like a champ is kinda pushing the chip and PCB to far, now as for memory you can push the already 7GHZ! to like 7100MHz or something.
