Need help ! PC for gaming and video editing

hello guys i want to build a system with good gaming and video editing capability.
here is what i have decided (i already have a monitor)

cpu - i7 6700K
GPU - gigabyte gtx 970 g1 (saving my money for pascal)
cooler - H100i gtx ( any other which you guys can suggest )
mobo - Big confusion here which one will be good for over clocking and features
confused between Asus ranger, asrock fatality k6, asrock extreme 6 and msi m5.Please help

Ram - gskill ripjaws v 2*8gb 3000mhz
psu - corsair rm750x
cabinet - corsair 450d
SSD - samsung 850 evo 250gb
HDD - seagate baracuda 2tb
keyboard - corsairs strafe RGB
mouse - logitech proteus



i need some expert advice please 🙁 i will be buying in couple of days and will use this rig to create my youtube videos.

hey bro thanks a ton for such quick response .

the 5820k build looks good but how long will it last. or shall i stick with 6700K
also the evga and phanteks products are not easily available here in india. so i decided to stay with corsair cabinet and PSU.

No difference in 'future proofing' between those builds; Both use DDR4, both are seriously powerful CPU's, great PSU's etc.

Only need to upgrade your GPU when performance is lacking in the future.

On the case&psu, don't worry, i just put those since they are cheaper. RMx is a great PSU, along with the nice 450D case.

So you're going with Skylake?

Out of those i would get the GIGABYTE, but all are good. I always recommend Gigabyte components because of personal experience and so on, but any of those will do.

i need a board with good features and over clocking availability also the h100igtx requires a usb 2.0 port to use one of its features. so i was looking for that .

also can you please suggest me a good AIO cooler. for my 450D case.

The H100i is a great cooler, even though i prefer high end air coolers, like the NH-D15.

They are the chipsets on the motherboards.

X99: Supports Haswell-E only, e.g. 5820k, 5930k, 5960X.

Z170: Skylake's chipset, supports Skylake only, e.g. 6600k, 6700k.

Both use DDR4.

The Z170/Skylake series are a bit more consumer-aimed. 4cores, hyperthreading, easy overclocking on the K chips.

X99/Haswell-E series are for a more professional-aimed use, although they are more and more popular in consumer systems. Used for rendering machines, servers (although XEON is more preferred here). 6 cores or more, a bit harder to overclock due to high thermal output, high stock voltages and wattages.

i will use my system for gaming and making videos for my youtube channel . what do you suggest ?

Any of those 2 will do. I would get the 5820k for more raw CPU performance, but they're both very powerful.
