Need Help Picking out a New Motherboard

I'm gonna try to make this short and simple... I know just about nothing to do with motherboards and I'm totally lost when it comes picking out a new one to get. I currently have a gigabyte nvidia 1080 gpu and am planning on getting an i7-7700k and some DDR4 ripjaws to go with it. If you have the time I'd highly appreciated any tips you have on picking one out and what you would recommend. Thanks for your time and any information you can provide is greatly apprecaited.

If you have the cash I'd recommend this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157738 assuming your RAM's compatible too. I'd recommend you also doing a bit more research on components that are gray areas for you because you never know when that info can come in handy. Happy holidays to you too =D

If you can, get 8700K (6C/12T) which will require Z370 mobo. 7700K has 4C/8T and its mobo Z270 will not support 8th gen CPU.

Yes, make sure you pick along compatible mem sticks, they will all be compatible but they might run best if you pick some that were pre tested by them for the best oc results.
