So, my cousin gave me his build. This is my first time doing all this, but I learned a lot already (I'm glad I didn't go for pre-build! And, the motherboard ran out on Amazon (WAIT! I get Newegg, but Amazon is the best choice for me right now). It was supposed to be this:

Best Buy or Fry's doesn't sell it. So, what motherboard would be a good choice. I'm going to have 8GB ram (ill upgrade some things later). and then Intel i5 6600k CPU.

The Gigabyte has only one problem, DOA. The Asus I mentioned had a lot of problems with static, unresponsive GPU, not VR friendly (I don't trust VR), and heats in 2 seconds as one claims.

Ok, now, to apply thermal paste (i5 6600k does NOT come with cooling fan), you just put a rice sized shape in the center, then spread it around a bit, and then add the fan?
