Ok guys I would like to get a tv or monitor that would allow me to hook my xbox, cable and pc up to so i can switch back and forth. I have no clue where to begin I am outdated when it comes to picking one out. I would like to keep it in the 21-25" range and cost no more than 350$. Cheaper is better but id rather have something of quality. Thanks for any help.

Also my rig is HD 6850 and a i5-2500k if it makes any difference in picking out.

Solution
in such a small size you will want a pc monitor.

1920x1080

hdmi inputs, at least 2.

and of course it needs a tuner.

sony or samsung are probably the top two.
i believe all televisions have tuners in them. it is what enables them to see local channels via an antenna line. not sure if its needed for cable as that is handled by a box normally (but is needed if you have no cable box).

google to make sure if you need a tuner or not. there might be external tuners available as well so dont let this one thing limit your choices.

So I see I'm a day late and a dollar short, but check out the Samsung P2770HD.
It is a Monitor/HDTV (1080P)
I have a I5-2500k and a I5-750 Computer hooked up, Plus
ant for local over the air tv statiopns (Not I could hook cable to ant input and pick up to "low end channels"
also connected, A stand-a-lone DVD recorder w/cable input so that I can (A) watch TV or (B) Record my SyFY programs
My be slightly over $350 ( when I bought it they were runing $499)

Ihey also have a 24 in monitor/HDTV It's a 16:10 instead of 16:9, which I like better.

Thanks a lot man this is exactly what i was looking for.
