Need Help Picking Parts For New Build

I'm having trouble picking parts for my new pc. I currently have this setup

MB---Acer AM3970G-UW10P
CPU-I5-2320
RAM-8 GB
HDD-1 GB OEM
GPU-EVGA GTX 570
Monitor-Acer 23 inch 1920x1080 60hz
PSU-Corsair TX 650W
Case-Corsair Storm Scout

The new parts i'm looking into getting are

MB---Asus Maximus VI Hero
CPU-I5 4690K
RAM-G.Skill Ripjaws X Series F3-1600C9D-16GXM
SSD-SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE250BW
GPU-EVGA 04G-2974-KR GeForce GTX 970
Case-Corsair Storm Stryker

I just wanted to ask you guys your professional opinion whether or not this is a good upgrade. My budget is $1300. Is the CPU upgrade worth it. I don't really want to get the 980 because of the cost and I know my CPU isn't really the best, so I figured the 4690K would pair good with the 970. This rig is for gaming and the games I play the most are BF4 and DayZ(I know, it's still an unoptimized mess right now). I play a little Watch Dogs and plan on getting GTA 5 when it comes out. What do you guys think.

If you look at my build at the bottom right corner, you can see I have a very similar setup. I haven't run into a game that I can't max out yet.

As far as gaming, you're going to see (at best) a minor improvement from an i5 2320 to the 4690, but your overall experience is definitely going to be much better, especially with that 970 and SSD.
