i have the GA-MA785GM-US2H motherboard and do not know very much about motherboard installation. i have a dell optiplex gx520 casing and a geforce 9500gt pci-e card and 1x 2gb ddr2 ram . confused need help or walkthrough. also 3x 40 gb hdd but i know i can only use two

Can you detail the CPU, CPU cooler, RAM models?

The Optiplex GX520 uses a motherboard with BTX form factor. BTX (for Balanced Technology eXtended) is a form factor for motherboards that was discontinued and cancelled in 2006. It was used in 2004 and 2005. Your new motherboard won't fit that case.

I would recommend buying a bare PC case for about $30. The GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H is Micro ATX form factor size. You can fit it in a "Mini Tower" PC case. A "Mid Tower" PC case fits both Micro ATX and the larger ATX size form factor motherboards.
