I just build a computer for a friend, and it has a MSI 970 gaming motherboard, AMD fx 8350, ASUS R9 390 strix gpu. I got it together and installed windows 8.1. Ran the cd for the GPU and it installed fine. Went to run the one for the MB and it will not install, so I figured id hook up the internet and get the updates from online and it will not recognize a wireless adapter or the Ethernet cord. It says "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter, If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver" and I click the next button and it says "Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter" and it shows its detected but wont go online. I have read online and followed some steps of how to maybe fix it but still nothing. I don't know if its because the motherboard is not up to date because the cd wont install or what. But I cant do anything to it because I can't access the internet.
Please help! Thank You
