[SOLVED] Need help!! PSU to GPU

Hey everyone,

I just managed to buy a 3060ti (MSI Trio) and in my haste to literally get any 3060ti I could, didn't see that its 2 x 8 pin. My current gpu is a 8 and a 6 pin. The 6 pin is really a 4+2 I think. Am I okay to put the 4+2 into a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter then use that as the other 8 pin alongside my ACTUAL 8 pin? My psu would be able to support it, just unsure of the wiring and adapter part.

I THINK it's the

Corsair CX-M Series CX650M 650 Watt 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Power Supply

but I can't double check, all I can see is the Corsair on the side, everything else is blocked by the PSU "cage" from the case. It's modular and I don't no where my cables are at this point so wanted to use an adapter. If there's no 4 and 2 pin then maybe it IS a 6...but I could have sworn it wasnt.

Yeah your PSU comes with 2 2+6 PCie cable. Each cable has 2 6+2 connector. You're gonna need to find your cables or buy some corsair compatible cable for your PSU.
