I made a world in a certain block game in 2022 and backed it up.
I believe that I have the file, but I cannot access it.
Any fixes or suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe I should explain that I think that the file is corrupted. I asked ChatGPT for help and it said it was all 0's. So I have come to the forums. It came from a NVME drive that is now broken.

This is very true.

Regarding a corrupted file, in general, this isn't something you can readily repair. In spite of how movies/TV portray things, the near infinite number of ways a file can be damaged makes it nearly impossible to repair.

You mentioned a damaged SSD. There could be physical damage contributing to the problem.

If you Google these terms "repair corrupted mincraft game save file", you find several sources for possible ways to resolve this issue.

As I read them and assess your situation, I would not get my hopes up.

Have you tried opening with MCedit?

I have tried with MCA selector and Amulet but not MCedit. In those programs it was just air blocks.

Maybe. Depends on the nature of the damaged SSD. It will be an expensive endeavor regardless.
