I need a 3-pin fan splitter but I'm confused between 3-pin female to 2x3-pin male and molex to 2x3-pin splitter. So please suggest which one should I go for.

I'm going to connect 2x120mm fans(1 for intake and the other is for out-take). I want to which will be best? Should connect it to motherboard or directly from PSU? As I'm going to use a splitter so which one is going to handle the pressure well?

Solution
Pressure? You mean the current load on the header circuit? Most fan headers are good for at least 1 amp. Most fans are ~.25 amp. Check yours.

The MB will (may) give you speed control. Connecting them to a Molex from the PSU will not. If you'd rather do that, you can use the Molex adapter that comes with most fans. If your fans didn't come with any, you'll need to get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812311003&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Internal+Power+Cables-_-N82E16812311003&gclid=CObg1YuHj8ICFYQ-aQodZbwAhA (this version will give you a pair of 3 pin connectors for full speed and a pair for reduced speed)

Thank you very much for the help. Just one last question. Between connecting to motherboard and connecting to PSU, which one you would have done?

FYI, the fans I'm going to connect will be used for out-take.

It would depend on the motherboard. If it allowed for speed control of the fans in BIOS (auto or manual) I would probably opt for that. But keep one thing in mind... if the 2 fans are not identical, they will not report accurate feedback to the BIOS.
If both fans are going to be used for exhaust and the noise doesn't bother you, connecting them to the PSU will be fine too. They will run at full RPM all the time that way unless you use the type of splitter I linked to. It is really up to the builder's choice. You could even add a fan controller if you wanted to.

Thank you very much. I'm gonna go for the motherboard option. Because while gaming the noise won't be a matter as I would have a headphone over my ears by while just surfing, the sound will be a disturbance eventually. Thank you once again. will go for the 3pin female to 2x3pin male.......😀
